The 4 Modes

Three modes are available with this machine: High-Frequency TIG, Left-Arrow TIG, and Stick Welding.

Remote 2T or 4T
It is a 2 touch or a four-touch operation. It is pretty simple to operate in 2T mode. However, either the torch switch or the foot pedal must be pressed to activate the current flow. It’s not possible to use both.
The situation becomes more complex in 4T. This mode gives you control over the various stages of the welding cycle. The mode is a latching mode. Press and hold the button until it entirely operates after pre-flow occurs. As soon as it reaches the end of the slope, press down again and hold down. Once the switch has been released, let it cool down.
Light & Portable

It keeps the gas flowing after the current has been turned off. It protects the welded area until it has cooled down. As it solidifies, the welding area is covered by preventing its exposure to other gases.
For a 3/32 tungsten amperage at 150 amps, 9 seconds is a safe flow setting. To protect tungsten from corrosion, argon is blown around and cooled off.

Positive welding cycles remove oxide layers from the metal, allowing clean welds. Conversely, the heat is concentrated in negative cycles. Welding requires a mixture of both, which is why they are helpful.
Switch to the 10% setting for less cleaning. To maximize cleaning, move the switch towards 90% for heavily oxidized metals.
